UUs do not baptise children.  We reject the notion that humans are born with original sin that needs to be washed away. We also do not "lock" a child into the UU faith.  Instead, we celebrate the hope and blessing that a new life brings and we dedicate ourselves as a community to support the child in their growth and search for truth.   Interested? If you would like to engage in the ritual of "child dedication" sometimes also known as a "naming ceremony," please let us know.
